Salary: £17,700.80 per annum pro rata, rising to £18,047.12 per annum pro rata following successful completion of probation
Hours: Part-time, 20 hours per week
Our client is a well-established charity with an excellent reputation for providing high-quality support and services to people with learning disabilities and their families in North London.
They are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic person to join their Day Opportunities team and provide specialist one to one and group support for adults with a learning disability who are accessing daytime activities. The role will involve providing a variety of one to one and group support at their vibrant Centre and out and about in the community, and on some occasions at service user’s homes.
Currently the service runs between 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday, though some flexibility will also be needed in order to meet the needs of the service.
They have the use of our client;s accessible minibus, so applications are encouraged from candidates who hold a clean driving license, preferably with a D1 allowance – though this is not an essential requirement of the role.
There are also Bank Support Worker positions within the same service.
They are dedicated to staff development and supervision and they will provide a detailed induction and on-going training and support.
