Our client is one of the largest locally-based housing groups in the East Midlands. We manage over 9,500 homes and house more than 20,000 tenants across the East Midlands in Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Rutland.

Location: Sherwood Rise, Nottingham

Salary: £21,000 pa

Hours: 35 hrs Full Time

About the role of Graduate Bid Writer:

Our client is looking to recruit a well organised, reliable and proactive Graduate Bid Writer to join their Business Development Team based in Nottingham.

As Graduate Bid Writer you will complete bids, grant applications and tenders for housing, care and support services. You will work with an enthusiastic team, with great managers and delivery teams across a wide range of services for vulnerable adults. Last year they won 73.3% of the bids/tenders that they submitted and secured £3.9m of funding to help retain existing services and develop new services across the East Midlands.

About You:

The successful Graduate Bid Writer must have graduated within the last 3 years with the minimum of a 2:1 and be highly motivated with a strong desire to contribute to the development of services for people with care and support needs. You must be able to demonstrate excellent writing, comprehension, interpersonal and communication skills, good attention to detail and the ability to follow through relevant tasks from start to finish.

You will work through a structured 12-month training programme, combining practical experience, professional development and the opportunity to network with peers from other departments and external agencies.

At the end of your training programme you will have acquired excellent knowledge of the housing and social care sectors on which to build a successful career.
