Care Coordinator / Service Coordinator (Nursing Care)
Our client is a recognised market leader in nursing, domiciliary, social and personal care. They are a dynamic and rapidly expanding home care agency that recruits only the best Nurses and Carers.
Position: Care Coordinator
Location: London
Job type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 08.30 to 17.30 or 09.00 to 18.00 (plus one evening a week on call and one weekend a month on call)
Salary: up to £31,500 package inclusive of on-call rates
About the role:
The Care Coordinator will ensure that high quality standards of care are delivered and maintained by working closely with the management team and in the field to ensure that suitable qualified carers and nurses are assigned to clients and high levels of customer service is maintained.
You will manage client and staff bookings, ensuring clients have continuity of care and the most suitable staff member to match their individual requirements. Liaising with healthcare professionals you will ensure that their clients have the best possible care and assistance in place.
About you:
The successful candidate will have experience within the health care industry and a care coordinator position (or similar) preferably some clinical training, particularly domiciliary care and you must be able to effectively organise your own time to prioritise activities, ensuring that business objectives are achieved within set timescales and to the required standard. You will also have excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate well and appropriately with clients, members of their family, nurses, carers and other members of staff.
Additionally, you will have creativity, able to contribute suggestions for the progression of the business and to improve our efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Excellent IT skills are essential, including knowledge using Microsoft Office applications or similar software programmes as appropriate. You must be comfortable operating in a “soft” sales capacity to take new client enquiries, explain their services comprehensively and follow up on all such client enquiries professionally in accordance with our client's operating processes and growth expectations.
You may have experience of the following: Care Worker, Special Education Needs, Care Assistant, Social Worker, Care Manager, Special Needs, SEN, Support Worker, Care Home, Domiciliary Care, Care Home Supervisor, Care Home Team Leader, Residential Care, Registered Manager, Care Manager, Service Manager, Manager, Registered Home Manager, etc.
