Our client is one of the leading learning disability charities in the country, providing support for 3,000 people with a learning disability and employing around 3000 staff. Operationally, we have been and continue to be innovative in recognising and championing positive support and great services.
Position: Divisional Director Central Region
Location: Covering Central Region - London, Herts & Essex, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Leicestershire, Shropshire & Worcestershire
Job type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £58,842 per annum plus car or car allowance
Benefits: home office allowance / 25 days annual leave (plus 8 bank holidays)

About the role:
Their Central Division supports with Residential Care, Supported Living, Home Care, Domiciliary Care, Outreach, Supported Employment, Day Opportunities, Respite Care / Short Term Breaks and Volunteering. Reporting to the Executive Director of Operations and Development you will be responsible for the management and development of these services and a budget in the region of £20m.
The Divisional Director will ensure that the Hft strategy is embedded and implemented developing excellent services and growing new business with measurable outcomes for the people they support.
This will be a challenging role but will also give you a great opportunity to shape and develop services, as well as leading on agreed national projects. Leading and motivating teams, ensuring positive and effective communication across the area and maintaining close working relationships with national colleagues.
About you:
You will need to be an experienced leader with knowledge and experience of negotiating with Local Authorities, managing significant budgets, have strong communication skills and the awareness and sensitivity of dealing with the issues surrounding a changing organisation.

You may have experience of the following: Divisional Director, Operations Manager, Regional Operations Manager, Regional Manager, Area Manager, Project Manager, Head of Operations, Service Manager, Cluster Manager, Charity, NFP, Third Sector, etc.
