Job Details

Prospectus is delighted to be partnering with RNIB as they seek a new Major Gifts Fundraiser to be a key contact within their Philanthropy Team.

The Major Gifts Fundraiser will be working directly with influential, high-profile individuals to determine their personal interests and motivations, put forward inspiring projects, and secure transformational funding. This work will contribute to the team target of £1.2m, which is expected to increase over the next three years, making this an exciting time to join a growing organisation. Responsibilities will also include assisting colleagues in enhancing RNIB's existing reputation for events and supporting the Major Giving Manager in the annual planning and budgeting process.

The successful candidate will have significant experience of soliciting six-figure gifts from high net worth individuals, and a proven track record of building effective long term relationships with high-level stakeholders. We are looking for a dedicated team player with excellent communication skills, who works flexibly, positively and creatively while also having the ability to solve problems and deliver competing demands to deadlines.

To apply for this role, please submit a Word Document version of your CV. Cover letters are not required at this stage; a full job description will be provided to candidates shortlisted by Prospectus.
