Are you an experienced generalist HR Advisor with experience of managing projects?
We are delighted to be supporting a membership organisation that supports young women and girls, to recruit their new HR Advisor on a fixed-term contract until June 2020.
Reporting to the Head of HR, the overall purpose of this role is to provide a proactive and strategic generalist HR service, as well as developing and delivering a range of HR initiatives in line with the organisation's people focussed strategy. Day to day duties will include managing projects relating to salary reviews, diversity and inclusion, ensuring compliance with employment and legislation regulation, and leading on the design and implementation of a development strategy. You will provide advice and guidance across all areas of HR (particularly regarding employee relations) and manage multiple HR service provider contracts and processes, such as their staff survey and 360 reviews, along with budget forecasting. In addition, you will have the opportunity to lead on occupational health, trust appraisal processes and volunteer recruitment.
To be considered for this role it is essential to have substantial experience in providing a strategic generalist HR service to all levels with knowledge of developing and implementing salary and benefits packages, and pay modelling. The successful candidate will have a good track record of managing employee relations cases, such as discipline and grievances, including leading restructure projects. You are required to have experience of designing and implementing a development strategy and implementing new HR systems. This role is ideally suited to someone with exceptional written communication and reporting skills, with the ability to communicate and convey complex information to senior stakeholders. Staff management experience is required as you will be responsible for line managing an HR Officer (L&D). A full CIPD qualification is essential for this post.
