As Support Services Manager you will report into the Head of Housing and Support Services and will be directly responsible for their support services including Independent Living schemes, Intensive Management Accommodation (temporary accommodation scheme for homeless housing applicants) and disabled adaptations service.

You will need a strong understanding of supported accommodation within the context of social housing and have an excellent grasp of the current and future challenges faced within this area.  In addition you will need to be an innovator who can drive service development and staff engagement with a proven track record of managing and delivering high performing customer focused support services.  

You will need to hit the ground running and not be afraid of hard work! You will need to be committed to utilising resources to ensure the best outcomes for customers and ‘thinking outside the box’ to ensure that the Independent Living schemes deliver Value for Money while meeting current and future customer needs. You will have to be able to calmly manage multiple priorities, being flexible and agile enough to deal with any challenges that come your way.
