Young Peoples Social Worker
Every day, 12 children and young people in the UK hear the shocking news they have cancer. Our client is the UK's leading cancer charity for children and young people, and their families, and provides them with clinical, practical, emotional and financial support. You can be a part of helping them cope with cancer and get the most out of life.
Position: Young Peoples Social Worker
Location: Manchester - Christie Hospital
Job type: Full Time, 18 Months Fixed Term Contract
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £33,755 FTE
Closing Date: 10 February 2019
Interview Date: 20 February 2019
About the role:
This post will provide a direct social work service to young people aged 16-24 with cancer who live in and around the surrounding areas.
About you:
They are looking for an experienced professional, qualified in social work with knowledge and experience around this specialist area of work.
This post is subject to a Criminal Records Check.
Our client is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.
