Seafarers UK provides vital support to seafarers in need and their families by giving grants to organisations and projects that can make a real impact to their lives. After 16 successful years leading the charity, Commodore Barry Bryant is stepping down as Director General and we are now looking for a new Chief Executive to lead the organisation through the next stage of its journey.

This is an exciting time to join Seafarers UK.  We are seeking a focused and inspirational new Chief Executive to work closely with an experienced management team to shape and implement our strategy for growth and change. As such, we require an exceptional senior leader with vision, flair and considerable experience of taking organisations through extensive change and growth. You will possess outstanding influencing, communication and interpersonal skills, strong commercial and financial acumen and the ability to engage at the highest levels with a wide range of key stakeholders in Government, partners, our beneficiaries and the public as we seek to raise our profile further.

We are open to whatever sector you come from, but ultimately you must be able to demonstrate a passion for what we do and share an empathy with the maritime community.
