It is the only charity of its kind to lie consistently at the heart of original leading-edge scientific research investigating why and how things can go wrong with conception, pregnancy and birth, and cancers that affect women; delivering real evidence-based results for medical treatments and outcomes of worldwide significance.

The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious person to make their mark and become involved with a variety of corporate fundraising activities and liaise with partners on the valuable impact of their donations. You will deliver long-term, high value partnerships and do new business solicitations. You will manage your own portfolio of partners who will also join us at key events. You'll be joining a small, versatile experienced development team. You will be doing both account management and new business development together to achieve our aims.
You will engage and build relationships with both UK and International companies. This will include obtaining corporate sponsors for priorities areas such as raising funds for studentships and fellowships linked to Imperial College. Also our programme of exciting public challenges with local and international events, as well as partners for our long standing medical and education conferences run by the GRT Symposium Office.

The successful candidate will have a track record of strategic corporate fundraising, ideally with experience of business development and relationship management with first rate negotiation skills and an innovative approach to your work.
You will need to be an excellent communicator, personable and understand how to provide customer service to ensure our partners receive the very best experience with a world class medical research charity.
