Employer: RSPCA Hull & East Riding Branch
Reporting to: General Manager
Location: RSPCA Animal Rescue Centre, Clough Road, Hull
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience
We have a new and very exciting opportunity for a fundraiser to manage our existing events and to develop new and fresh opportunities for the RSPCA Hull & East Riding Branch
We are looking for a candidate who is very enthusiastic and a passionate team player and who is happy and confident in promoting the Branch in order to maximise the funding opportunities available within our Branch area. Our animal centre is currently under redevelopment on its current site which has been operational since 1938. Our mission is to improve our current facilities whilst maintaining our existing animal welfare activities.
We are unique from other animal welfare charities as our animals are primarily sourced via the National Society Inspectors who have rescued them from a life of abuse, neglect or abandonment and brought into us for rehabilitation and rehoming. As a small team we work closely together to improve the lives of animals through both our rehabilitation work and our children’s education program.
Do you have the multiple skills we are looking for that will promote us within the corporate sector, regular donors and event management, to aid us in delivering our message to a diverse community? We are looking for a fundraiser who is highly motivated with a proven track record of income generation and enthusiastic about working for and promoting our Branch. This position is supported by our existing part time trusts and foundations manager.
The RSPCA Hull & East Riding Branch is a separately registered charity which is autonomous from the National RSPCA, we are responsible for our own income generation and day to day activities. Only a very small proportion of the branches annual income comes via the National society, so we are responsible for our own sustainability.
Closing date for applications: 19th February 2019
