Job Details
Do you have experience leading the delivery of an awards function?
Business in the Community exists to create a fairer society and more sustainable future. Their local, national and international programmes enable businesses to achieve more through collaboration than would otherwise be possible. They are proud to be part of the Prince's Charities, a group of not-for-profit organisations of which the Prince of Wales is president.
The charity is seeking someone to cover a period of maternity leave until August 2018, however there is the view that this could be extended thereafter.
The Awards Manager will take full responsibility for delivering the Responsible Business Awards 2019, where winners will be announced at the Responsible Business Awards Gala Dinner at the Royal Albert Hall in July 2019. You will actively lead the final stage of the awards cycle, ensuring stakeholders are updated while also working in close collaboration across the Marketing and Communications team in a broader sense to ensure the awards are receiving the desired exposure.
You will have direct experience of delivering an awards programme and will relish the opportunity to be involved in an event that celebrates success! Strong project management skills are absolutely essential and therefore you will be confident at driving deliverables and ensuring tasks are completed on time and to a high standard. The ability to communicate clearly and effectively is crucial, as is the ability to coordinate others. An interest in corporate social responsibility is ideal but not essential.
Please apply by submitting your CV via this website. A full job description will be provided by Prospectus to applicants who are successful at the initial selection process.
