My client is a Charity based in South East London and have an ambitious mission to shift the dial on some of the biggest health issues of our time. To do this, they make use of every tool in the took kit! Strategic communications and stakeholder engagement play a big role in helping to do just that. Currently recruiting for a Digital Communications specialist to bring this Charity into 2019 and beyond.

Description

The key responsibilities for this Digital Communications Manager based in London are as follows:

Identify and drive strategic and tactical improvements across all our digital channels, including web, social media and e-newsletters.

Project manage the redevelopment of the Charity's website, planned for 2019-20.

Work closely with the team to plan, design and produce impactful, digital-first communications outputs, embedding best practice.

Set up KPIs and measurement processes, gathering the right data, confidently translating it into insight and using it to drive improvements.

Maximise the support from our digital agency and others to ensure our website follows best practice.

Monitor and maintain the health of our digital channels and act as first port of call for troubleshooting.

Lead the use of the new CRM (Salesforce) for communications purposes - particularly around monitoring and reporting.

Profile

The successful Digital Communications Manager will have the following experience:

First-hand experience with a broad digital channel mix, with web and social media as essential and newsletters as highly desirable.

Experience of a website redevelopment project managing it in full or at least a substantive part.

Experience using Content Management systems (preferably Drupal).

Experience of identifying and driving iterative improvements to digital channels.

Project management - managing multiple deadlines, projects and suppliers with a proven record of delivering outputs on time and on budget.

Experience applying SEO principles.

Job Offer

This Digital Communications Manager role based in South East London offers best in class benefits and an annual salary of circa £40,000 per annum. Not for Profit and Charities experience is preferred as is Healthcare communications.
