We are looking for an inspirational Programme Director to deliver change through our financial capability and financial inclusion programmes.

Just Finance Foundation is a charity which aims to create a fairer financial system in which people and communities can flourish. We address issues of financial exclusion, distress caused by unmanageable worries and debt, and the lack of practical knowledge, around budgeting, saving and spending. Our work helps people avoid and find ways out of financial distress by building their financial capability and providing relevant support and signposting to self-help and services. At the same time, we act to influence and reshape both national and local structures and systems to better reflect the needs and interests of low-income households. Programmes are delivered through local partners across the country working with existing community assets wherever possible.

As Programme Director you will be responsible for delivering change through our programmes; you will effectively coordinate the foundation's activity, manage interdependencies and have oversight of risk. Leading a team including a programme manager and a programme administrator, you will develop and maintain an environment to support individual programme work with a focus on our Lifesavers and Just Finance Local Programmes.

The right person for this role will have strong community programme management experience with good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling programmes.

You will be an effective leader with effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and partners.
