Job Details
TPP Recruitment is excited to be recruiting for Development Manager for a national children's charity. The role is part time - 0.5 FTE/17.5 hours a week and £28k-£32k pro rata. The role is partially home-based.
The charity aims to provide children from poor socio-economic areas with better life chances. They work with schools, community partners and leading businesses, including high street brands. This is a new role which has come about due to rapid charity growth. The role sits within the Fundraising Team and reports to the Head of Development.
This role is responsible for developing key relationships with businesses, individuals, trusts, foundations and other sources of funding in the local area to support their services and activity. This includes relationship management and working to clear income targets, and providing support to the service managers as required.
To be successful in this role you will need to have experience of managing relationships in the corporate sector. You will ideally have corporate or community charity fundraising experience. Finally, you will have an understanding of charity law and fundraising regulations e.g. GDPR.
Closing date 31st January 2019. Interview 11th February.
