Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) x 2

£23,000 per annum
37.5 hours per week (on a rota basis covering Monday - Friday 9am - 8pm & Saturday and Sunday (including bank holidays) 10am - 6pm)
 
 
Our client is looking for someone with experience working with customers with complex needs, to support their high risk domestic abuse victims and survivors across Derby.
 
You will have an understanding of the causes and effects of domestic abuse, and the barriers that their customers face when accessing services.
 
Using a customer focused approach, you will create safety and support plans for customers and their children, prioritising high risk cases and complete any referrals to other agencies. You’ll help them regain control over their lives, helping them identify the features and dynamics of an abusive relationship and give advice about legal options, finance and housing moving forward.
