Stratford Town Trust plays a key role in the community life of Stratford-upon-Avon.  Dating back to the 13th Century, the role of the Trust is twofold: As custodian of the ancient Guild and College Estates it looks after some of the most important and quirky buildings and spaces within the town including a bandstand, the Medieval Guild Chapel, the beautiful Rowley Fields and even a couple of pubs.  As a grant maker we proudly support over one hundred groups, charities, and members of the community each year and with over £30 million in funding allocated since 2001, we know that sometimes the smallest grant can make the biggest difference.  We are a small team, led by a new Chief Executive and Chair of Trustees, committed to improving the quality of life of the people of our town.  Stratford Town Trust is changing the way it thinks, how it connects with the community and how it might make the biggest impact from its valuable assets.  We are looking for two people to help us deliver that change.  If you are creative and passionate about helping the community, we would love to talk to you.

Grants Manager (Full time, permanent.  Salary: £35k)

We are looking for a Grants Manager to join our team.  Reporting to the CEO you will be responsible for the overall grant making strategy ensuring that we operate in line with our Strategic Plan; the Community Investment Policy; and in accordance with the charitable Objects.  You will be part of a small team that implements, promotes and manages efficient and effective systems to drive a genuinely diverse range of grant applications.

You will have previous experience in a grant making charity.  Highly organised and dedicated, you will possess excellent attention to detail; outstanding written and verbal communication skills; strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills with a genuine empathy and understanding of the voluntary sector.

Communications Officer (Full time, fixed term 12-month contract. Salary: £25k FTE)

We have an exciting opportunity within our team for a Communications Officer and are looking for someone to help reshape and improve communication channels for the organisation.  The successful candidate in this new post will help to build trust and advocacy between Stratford Town Trust, key stakeholders, grant applicants, and our local community.  Reporting to the Grants Manager you will enable and inspire the wider team to use positive communication to deliver on our strategic objectives.
Note:  although advertised as a full time post, applications will also be considered from those looking for a part time role.
