JOB OVERVIEW
- To build and develop relationships within the community to drive income through volunteer groups, school groups, rotary and hospital fundraising.
- To plan and implement a calendar of community events and manage and motivate volunteer fundraisers across Greater Manchester and the North West.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To identify, research and establish a strong network of fundraising groups within the community.
- To provide on-going support to volunteer groups, motivating and managing volunteers through their fundraising activity. Develop volunteer groups, rotary support, school/college/university groups and small business fundraising.
- Create and deliver an ongoing volunteer recruitment plan.
- Plan, implement and manage a calendar of community events
- Initiate hospital fundraising, engaging and supporting hospital staff.
- Build long-lasting relationships within the local community delivering talks and presentations to encourage ongoing support.
- Develop relationships with local media, including press, radio and digital.
- Take accountability for online marketing and social media updates across various platforms.
- Manage own administration, ensuring accurate and up to date financial reporting.
- Deliver against a specific income target, reporting to the CEO providing regular fundraising updates.
- To support the wider fundraising team and undertake other duties appropriate to the role, as required
- Represent MedEquip4Kids in a positive and professional manner at all times, maintaining the ethos of the organization.
