Job Details

We have an exciting job opportunity for a Customer Care Assistant to join our team based in Sheldon, Birmingham and provide outstanding customer service to Supporters, Fundraisers, Volunteers, and other customers.

Acting as one of the first points of contact with the customer you will ensure service consistency. You'll provide a high level of customer service delivered through inbound, outbound and fulfilment administrative activity (telephone, postal, email, and web-based etc) to British Heart Foundation (BHF) supporters, colleagues and stakeholders within the BHF.

About you

You'll have excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal & written. You'll be able to communicate and liaise with many individuals daily in a professional manner ensuring they are provided with the correct information.

With a real passion for helping customers and making the customer journey as simple as possible you will contribute to the continuous development of activities, systems and processes relating to all aspects of customer service. You'll develop strong working relationships with a close-knit team and ensure that information and knowledge is shared amongst the team so that we are providing a world class service.

You'll have a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service and have previous experience at handling sometimes challenging communications in a professional, confident and empathetic manner and will be able to recognise when to escalate queries. With excellent time management skills you'll be resilient, able to solve problems and manage workload in a timely manner to meet deadlines.
