Senior Development Manager
University of Warwick
£40,792 - £48,677 - job can be London-based
The University of Warwick is one of the most successful young universities in the UK. With a dynamic and forward-thinking culture, and a reputation for combining innovation with the relentless pursuit of excellence, it is firmly established within the top ten of all UK university rankings and currently 51st in the world. Its Development Office is on a similar trajectory. With the appointment of Matt Ferguson as its Director of Development at the start of 2018, the team has been challenged to raise the funds needed to take the University and its students to the next level.
To help meet this challenge, two faculty-specific Senior Development Manager roles have been created to each develop and manage a portfolio of Major Gift (£100,000+) prospects and projects.
These roles present an exciting opportunity for the post holders to develop their management skills, having line management responsibility for a Development Executive. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills will be required, as well as major gifts experience, knowledge of the principles of donor management and experience of stakeholder management in a complex environment.
