DMWS is an award-winning international charity that provides a comprehensive and confidential Medical Welfare Service to the Armed Forces Community and other front-line staff whenever they are receiving medical treatment.  For 75 years our practical and emotional support to the individual, their family, and carers, has ensured that no family goes through the worry of illness or injury alone.

We work with people when their medical needs are being met, but other issues, problems or social influences may be impacting on their wellbeing and recovery.  We are unique, and remain the only military charity and civilian welfare organisation to deploy to areas of conflict to support our Armed Forces.

DMWS operate in NHS hospitals, military recovery centres, and local communities across the UK, Germany and Cyprus for serving Armed Forces personnel, reservists, veterans and families, and in Hampshire and Avon & Somerset providing our Police Medical Welfare Service.
