Our client is looking for a HR Advisor to be part of a fast-paced, forward-thinking environment, where there is huge opportunity to make a real difference to the charity and their continued success. The role will be based in Prestwich, Manchester; however regular travel will be required to their offices in London.

Reporting into the HR Manager and working as part of a traditional HR team, you will work closely with senior management and employees to provide a Generalist HR service including advice, guidance, coaching and support relating to employee relations, HR policies and projects.
• Working well with a diverse range of managers is crucial for success in this role and so previous experience of building management capability when handling people situations such as disciplinaries, grievances, capability, performance and absence is necessary as well as conducting regular business reviews.
• You must also be very comfortable generating regular HR reports using various systems to track and monitor key performance indicators (KPI’s).
• The role will focus mainly on ER casework for up to 200 staff dealing with cases such as sickness, absence, disciplinary and legislative etc.
• This role is very fast paced and high volume and you will be expected to work in a high-pressured environment. There may be other tasks (project work) and other HR responsibilities that you will be getting involved with, however the majority of the role will be focusing on the ER case work.
Experience & Qualifications:
You will need to have experience within a fast paced, busy environment. You will have worked in a HR Advisor role or similar previously and have experience in employee relations and HR project management, confident and capable of reacting to people related situations with a solutions focused approach.
You will have a good working knowledge of all levels of Employee Relations and employment law. This is essential.
You must have experience working with a varied, high volume caseload and be able to prioritise your own workload. Experience of remote/lone working and providing telephone support would be desirable but is not essential.
A CIPD qualification would be ideal however experience and values are also very important to this organisation so they welcome applications from experienced HR Advisors.
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
