Summary

Following a rebrand and office move we have ambitious plans for growth and are seeking an efficient and enthusiastic Nation Administrator to support our operations in Wales.  You will be joining a passionate team providing high quality services to people with arthritis of all ages across the nation. 

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, have strong organisational skills, finance and budget administration skills and the ability to work under minimum supervision.

The next few years represent a unique opportunity for us to do more, more effectively, to positively impact on the lives of people with arthritis across Wales and the UK and everyone who works for us will have an important role to play in our transformation.

About the role

Working in partnership with our current part time Wales Administrator the post holder will provide, manage and develop all aspects of office and service administration, supporting the Nation Director, the national committee, home and office-based staff colleagues and volunteers.  This will require establishing strong relationships with key colleagues across the charity in order to ensure systems and processes are consistent and effective and the sharing of best practice.

The role provides a welcoming and engaging entry point to Versus Arthritis for enquiries, including potential volunteers and acts as a first point of contact for our branch and group network in the Wales.

Key requirements

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of managing and developing an administration function within a complex changing environment
  • Experience of financial transactions and maintaining financial/funding information, including budget monitoring and management
  • Excellent IT skills including ability to respond to new developments in IT
  • A tactful and diplomatic approach with high quality verbal and written communication skills
  • Competent in managing changing and competing priorities with minimum supervision
