Our client is an organisation that provides a range of housing and varied support services to vulnerable people. Their aim is to support people in achieving their full potential. They are currently going through a large period of growth and have a vacancy for a Project Worker in Doncaster Foyer.

Position: Project Worker
Location: Doncaster Foyer, South Yorkshire
Job type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £15,615 to £21,660 per annum
Benefits: 26 days’ annual holiday rising a day a year for the first 5 years + bank holidays, Life Assurance, Pension scheme and an Employee Health Assistance Programme. Professional development opportunities and flexible working arrangements.

About the role:

This important role involves working closely with Service users to provide support and advice to enable them to achieve independent living. As identifying and addressing their needs forms a vital part of the job, you will need to work effectively with the whole team and partner agencies.

About you:

You should be an excellent communicator with an approachable nature in order to support their  tenants in a calm and understanding way, even in challenging situations.

You will also need to have the ability to offer young people support with parenting, housing, employment, counselling and welfare benefits.
