Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. Every 10 minutes a woman receives the news that she has breast cancer - and every day a man does, too. We want every person affected by breast cancer to get the best treatment, information and support. Our specialist nurses, local services and emotional support network mean there’s always someone to turn to for tailored and trusted information and care.
We’re excited to announce that in April 2019, we’re uniting with Breast Cancer Now – the largest breast cancer research charity - to create one charity for everyone affected by breast cancer.
From research to care, our new charity will have people affected by breast cancer at its heart – providing support for today and hope for the future. United, we’ll have the ability to carry out even more world-class research, provide even more life-changing support and campaign even more effectively for better services and care.
Together, we believe that, by 2050 everyone who develops breast cancer will live and receive the support they need to live well now.
Breast Cancer Care is an inclusive employer committed to developing a diverse workforce.
Please note that this is a maternity cover role which is expected to last for 12 months in the first instance.
Closing date for applications: 1.00pm on Friday 25 January 2019
