This well respected international development charity are looking for a media relations professional to come and join their team. Within this role you can look forward to implementing the charity's new 5 year strategy to draw in new audiences and engage with them. You will be building the profile of their work and raising concern about key issues. You will play a key role in identifying, creating and delivering strong news and feature stories and help fashion the organisational voice to influence key stakeholders through the use of creative, bold and compelling messaging. Line managing one media officer and working closely with the wider communications team to create a seamless communications flow across all channels..

The ideal candidate will:

Be an experience media relations/PR professional
Have strong contracts within the UK media
Have strong crisis management experience
Have line management experience
