Chief Executive Officer

Derby

Up to £55,000 depending on skills

For the past 16 years, our client has been working hard to end child sexual abuse and exploitation. They deliver direct services to children and young people who are being, or at risk of being, sexually exploited, and provide education services to improve the response to young victims of sexual abuse.

The Board is extremely proud of all that they have achieved since its inception and the strong reputation it has achieved amongst professionals, external stakeholders and the public.  Their recent strategic review identifies a new vision for the charity focussing on fighting child sexual abuse in the East Midlands, delivering innovative family and young people support services and effective prevention programmes. They will be unafraid to voice challenging issues and continue to campaign for change.

They are now looking for an ambitious, strategic and creative Chief Executive Officer to help develop and deliver a high performing charity, which continues to transform the lives of children, young people and families affected by child sexual abuse and exploitation in the East Midlands.

The CEO will be central to the continued development of the charity.  You will provide strategic and operational leadership; instilling confidence inside and outside of the organisation.  You will work to build positive relationships with key stakeholders, deliver a strong base of diversified income streams and define and deliver the strategic and fundraising plans.

The successful candidate will already have senior management experience, preferably in the charity sector, ideally as a CEO.  You must have a track record of driving through change, managing effective fundraising initiatives and of financial literacy to include budget preparation, analysis, decision making and reporting.

Results oriented with a strong history of delivering ambitious targets, you will be able to create a compelling vision and message that generates commitment and action from all stakeholders.  You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills along with an understanding of developing and delivering organisational effectiveness.

If you have a strong commitment to the values and purpose of this organisation, we would love to hear from you!
