About the role:

Concern UK is looking for a Senior Public Affairs & Campaigns Officer to build our profile and influence with the UK Government, Parliamentarians and the international development sector.

You will join our Policy & Campaigns team dedicated to influencing policies and practices to improve the lives of the world’s most vulnerable people.

About you:

Do you know how to influence decision makers? Have a good understanding of how Parliament works? Are you excited by developing creative campaigns to motivate the public to take action?

We’re looking for someone with a track record of delivering private and public advocacy strategies, brokering relationships with decision makers and running successful supporter focused campaigns.

You’ll have at least three years’ experience in a similar role – ideally in the development sector – be digitally literate, a strong project manager and committed to tackling hunger and extreme poverty.

We work in partnership with the very poorest people in these countries, directly enabling them to improve their lives, as well as using our knowledge and experience to influence decisions made at a local, national and international level that can significantly reduce extreme poverty.
