An exciting new opportunity within one of London's leading Universities has arisen for a dedicated and professional Student Wellbeing Manger to support and coordinate the wellbeing services function.

As the School's Student Wellbeing Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day provision of support for students experiencing a disability. Acting as the key point of contact, you will assist students seeking additional support to access available support services including Disabled Student Allowance (DSA). The Student Wellbeing Manger will provide specialist and confidential advice and guidance to students with various disabilities, including mental health conditions and learning difficulties, identifying the suitability of reasonable adjustments along with providing vital support to programme staff. With substantial knowledge of relevant policies and legislation, the post holder will also support the development of policy and procedures ensuring the delivery of a positive and nurturing experience for students. As the School Wellbeing Manager, you will also contribute to the monitoring and implementation of processes, systems and practices within disability services, together with actively promoting and delivering awareness for mental health.

To be considered for this post, you will be a proven professional with previous experience working within student wellbeing or disability services in a higher education environment. You will have demonstrable understanding and awareness of student wellbeing along with the ability to exert excellent customer service skills. You will be educated to degree level or equivalent together with strong MS office skills. You will also have exceptional communication skills and the ability to understand and interpret complex regulations, explaining them effectively to both internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will also have a thorough understanding of key legislative frameworks including Equality Act and GDPR, along with exceptional attention to detail.
