Description

  • Increased income and lifetime value from mid-level donors
  • Understanding of our mid-level supporters and prospects
  • Implement a Mid-Level Giving programme, which involves stewarding donors through their supporter journeys in a personalised and bespoke way
  • The Mid-Level Giving Programme is well integrated into the broader Individual Engagement and Philanthropy strategies with donors regularly moving in to the Mid-Level Giving programme, and others moving up to become Major Donors.
  • Improved supporter experience for mid-level donors - measured through improved donor satisfaction
  • Deliver projects within budget and meet agreed KPIs

-The role has the authority to make implementation decisions regarding the cultivation and stewardship of Mid-Value donors - including decisions on supporter journeys and data selections for Mid-Level Giving campaigns.

-Responsible for reaching agreed financial targets with the appropriate use of resources.

-Represent the charity at both internal and external meetings as well as developing relationships internally with staff

Profile

  • Educated to a Bachelor Degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Confident and able to apply a broad range of communication and interpersonal skills (both verbal and written) to provide a high level of service to Mid-Value donors
  • Experience working in the fundraising sector with knowledge of successful fundraising and direct marketing methods and techniques
  • Detailed knowledge of using databases for effective marketing
  • Proven ability using analytics to inform and influence decision-making
  • Experience of working collaboratively with members of a marketing or fundraising team and across departments
  • Relevant experience in responding appropriately and efficiently to the requirements and demands of donors and funders
  • Experience of excellent relationship building or supporter journey planning
  • Experience of working with creative agencies and other suppliers.
  • Excellent negotiating and briefing skills for work with agencies and in-house design and communication teams
  • Ability to prioritise according to organisational needs
  • A willingness and confidence to test and learn
  • An ability to demonstrate patience and persistence
  • Understanding of legal requirements linked to direct marketing/fundraising and data protection.
