Our client is seeking to recruit an inspirational Service Manager to lead their Bristol Housing Services as part of the Bristol Homelessness Pathways and to also be responsible for the contract coordination of the Women’s Pathway and their low support Family Service.

Their Women’s and Mixed Gender Housing services include, high and medium support Projects that provide accommodation across Bristol, working with clients in a recovery focused way to support them into independent living.

As the Service Manager will work with the Senior Services Manager and take responsibility for day-to-day management and service delivery; working with a team of Deputy Managers to lead, motivate and develop the teams. You will also ensure that excellent client support and positive management and development of staff are maintained. In addition to, networking, resource-building budgetary control responsibilities.

The post therefore requires a resilient manager, equipped to meet the challenges of supporting complex clients and staff teams across multiple sites, as well as locality management and building strong neighbourhood and community relations.  

To succeed, you will have experience of staff management and the ability to motivate staff. You will also have experience of working with vulnerable homeless or disadvantaged people, coupled with the knowledge and an understanding of their housing and support needs, as well as the housing options and framework to support them.
