Our client is a leading charity that provides support to individuals who use drugs and alcohol, their families and friends. Their mission is to empower people to change; ending dependency, harm, and stigma by delivering high quality, evidence-based substance misuse services and effective advocacy and campaigning. They are currently looking to recruit an Implementation Manager to lead the development of their new drug and alcohol service in Haringey. This role is offered up to a four and half month fixed term contract, 21 - 28 hours per week.

Following a successful bid, the organisation will be delivering a bespoke drug and alcohol service to individuals in Haringey from early 2019. As such, they are looking to recruit an Implementation Manager to work collaboratively with the Area Manager on the implementation and development of the service. The role will encompass a full start-up approach including working closely with internal stakeholders such as HR and the existing team, as well as acting as the face of the organisation, which will include cultivating and developing positive working relationships with commissioners, local NHS Trusts, referring agencies and external support agencies. Working as part of a project implementation team, you will coordinate all aspects of the initial set-up and ensure that the process for all involved is streamlined, clear and delivered on time.

To be successful, you will have demonstrable experience of successful project management and implementation combined with the ability to effectively lead all aspects of a service contract including developing opportunities for joint working and formulating relationships with other agencies and key stakeholders. Due to the nature of this role, knowledge and experience of the issues vulnerable people with complex needs face is essential, as is the ability to support and contribute towards an organisation's overall strategic development.
