This organisation's mission is to transform the beyond profit sector, helping charities to increase their fundraising potential and become more impactful.To date, they have raised £14m from 58m consumer donations to support more than 300 charities, and these numbers are continuing to grow at a significant pace. They are currently looking to appoint a new Business Development Manager, and Prospectus is leading the search.

The Business Development Manager will retain and grow relationships with new merchants and act as a superb ambassador externally for Pennies. Pennies offers a superb blend of beyond profit sector engagement by supporting a number of charities across the UK, as well as a commercial sector outlook in the fast-moving and dynamic team environment. You will have excellent relationship building skills and will acutely understand how to promote and facilitate the benefits of Pennies to a variety of merchant partners, particularly in the technology space. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, the Business Development Manager will account manage a number of existing retailers at the discretion of the Senior Leadership Team, and will also ensure there are bespoke engagement plans in place for all new partners.

The selected candidate could join from any sector, including IT services, business development, fundraising, or recruitment for example. Crucially, you will be able to build personal credibility with senior stakeholders and business leaders in the IT sector and will understand best practice and market trends within this space.
