Salary: £17,700.80 per annum (pro rata), rising to £19,624.80 upon successful completion of probation.
Hours: Range of full-time permanent (day or waking night) and flexible bank opportunities available

Our client is a friendly, local and thriving charity with an excellent reputation for providing high quality services to children and adults with learning disabilities and their families, in North London.

One of their many exciting projects, Anson Road, is located by Tufnell Park and supports 8 service users with a range of mild to severe learning disabilities and complex needs. There is a strong focus on support that promotes independence, building valuable skills and confidence, as well as involvement in their community. This includes working with tenants with all aspects of day to day living and to attend an array of engaging activities in the community such as drumming, swimming, music therapy, disco, gym sessions, wheelchair ice-skating – and much more!

Keen to get involved here or with opportunities across their  other projects? If you are positive, flexible and eager to develop new skills, this may be just right for you! They are always looking for friendly, energetic people to join them and promote and maintain the health and wellbeing of those they support, empower them to make choices and help build and maintain relationships with their family and friends.

You will provide support to children and/or adults with a range of mild, moderate and severe learning disabilities – this could be in their homes, at supported housing projects like Anson Road, at their Centre or out and about accessing exciting activities!

They have a range of full-time and part-time permanent vacancies available. Previous experience in this role is not essential, as they are fully committed to staff development. As part of this, they will provide you with an in-depth induction, as well as ongoing training and support for you to learn everything you will need to be a great Support Worker.

Bank Opportunities
£9.50 – £10 PER HOUR, VARIABLE HOURS
They also offer Bank Support Work roles, which are ideally suited to people who are looking for flexibility and variety in their work. Bank hours will be optional and are not guaranteed, any hours accepted will be agreed on an ongoing basis. Hourly rates may also vary, depending on which projects you work on.
