Our client is an organisation that provides a range of housing and varied support services to vulnerable people. Their aim is to support people in achieving their full potential. They are currently going through a large period of growth and have 2 vacancies for a Night Concierge Worker.

Position: Night Concierge Worker x 2
Location: Salford, Manchester
Job type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week working nights, including weekends and bank holidays
Salary: £13,232 to £19,598 per annum dependant on experience

About the role:

They are looking for 2 individuals to provide support in their service in Salford.

You will carry out a concierge role, which is an important position for the safe running of the service. Working hours include mainly overnight waking cover, or during other unsocial hours as required by the service. You will work with residents of the project, providing information, advice and guidance, as appropriate.

The role includes ensuring the safety and security of the residents, cleaning and administration tasks, regarding all policies and procedures of the association being followed and upheld.

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will have an understanding of the challenges facing vulnerable people and the difficulties that these can present, in a supported housing environment. You will also have an understanding of the basic principles of building security and safety.

With experience of working with people, during unsociable hours, you will be calm under pressure and have the ability to think logically. It would also be an advantage for you to effective in managing multiple requests simultaneously.

You should be I.T literate and be able to record incidents within an I.T system. Good communication skills, and the ability to influence others through discussion, is also important.

A Disclosure and Barring Service Enhanced Certificate will be required for these roles.
