About the role

Working as part of the London and East Region team, a team of highly motivated and ambitious fundraisers who work together to achieve success across the different income streams using their local knowledge, contacts and skills.

The role is fast paced, innovative and flexible, enabling you to utilise your skills in relationship building, organisation and project management.

What you’ll do     

You’ll play a key role in supporting, motivating and managing a portfolio of individual supporters to fundraise on behalf of Parkinson’s UK, ensuring opportunities to realise their full potential are maximised and key supporters are retained. 

Working collaboratively with central fundraising teams you’ll lead on the development and delivery of a portfolio of local fundraising events, including local delivery of the Walk for Parkinson’s series and development of local fundraising in allocated areas; including community support, local corporate activity and some major donor work.

What you’ll bring

Demonstrable experience of general fundraising principles in at least two of the following disciplines: events, community, corporate, major donor.

Experience of setting and managing budgets to achieve agreed target and working effectively to plan and organise work to meet deadlines

Effective communication and listening skills and the ability to work in a modern workplace.
