We are looking for a proactive and driven individual, with experience in fundraising, communications or marketing, to join our small and friendly staff team here at Marriage Care. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in helping us shape the future of this national charity.
Working across England and Wales our team of 700 trained and passionate
volunteers provide marriage preparation and relationship counselling through over 50 centres and 100 counselling locations. We are the second largest relationship counselling provider and the largest single provider of marriage preparation in the UK.
We are looking for someone who has an understanding of and commitment to the work of Marriage Care and its Catholic Christian ethos, who is also passionate about building relationships with supporters and is excited to grow fundraising from the ground up. You will come with new ideas and lead innovative campaigns. By working closely with the rest of the Marriage Care team you will ensure that fundraising is fully embedded into the life of Marriage Care.
You will have delivered successful fundraising campaigns and managed related projects. You need to be organised, proactive and an excellent communicator. We are particularly looking for someone with experience of researching trusts and writing compelling applications as this will be a key income stream.
