Job Details
A national charity supporting former civil servants are looking for a part time Group Development Officer to join their team.
They provide a range of services including leisure engagement, befriending services and advice. They are a small organisation of 5 staff, and have 90 Group Advisors across the UK, who volunteer and manage specific regional areas.
As Group Development Officer you will act as first point of contact for any advice, guidence and support requested by the group officers. They are a small organisation so this is a brilliant opportunity for someone who is looking for their first role within the charity sector, and is looking to learn as much as possible.
Your other main responsibilities will include
-Keeping officers updated with any news or information of relevant to them.
-Create awareness of the charity and developing a presence.
-Work with the CEO and board to support the development of any new group concepts.
-Keep the website and newsletter up to date.
They are looking for someone who is excellent at developing and managing relationships and who is creative in their working approach.
