Job Details

Unicef ensures more of the world’s children are vaccinated, educated and protected than any other organisation. We have done more to influence laws and policies to help protect children than anyone else. We get things done. And we’re not going to stop until the world is a safe place for all our children.

The Talent Development Adviser role is crucial to the work of the Talent Development team at Unicef UK. You will be responsible for the ongoing support of colleague learning and development initiatives and you will work closely with the Talent Business Partner to design and implement a range of blended learning solutions that include both face to face and online learning.  You will also work closely with the People Business Partners to gather internal learning needs and provide important L&D management information, and you will also build and maintain strong relationships with external training providers.

With responsibility for managing the team’s L&D communications channel and e-learning platform, you will be expected to have a creative flare with strong written and oral communication skills. A passion for seeing people grow and develop in their role is a must have attribute as well as the ability to support colleagues and teams with understanding and developing their learning requirements. An established L&D background would be desirable but more importantly we are looking for individuals who are confident in taking the lead, thrive in an agile and dynamic working environment and are not afraid to come up with innovation solutions that brings a level of fun and creativity to L&D.

Act now and visit www.unicef.org.uk/jobs to apply online.

Closing date: 5pm, Tuesday 18 January 2019

Interview date: week commencing 28 January 2019

Unicef UK promotes equality, diversity and inclusion in our workplace. We make employment decisions by matching business needs with skills and experience of candidates, irrespective of age, disability (including hidden disabilities), gender, gender identity or gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, or sexual orientation.

We are happy to talk about flexible working, personal growth, and to promote a workplace where you can be yourself and achieve success based only on your merit.

The successful candidate will be required to apply for a criminal records check. A criminal record will not necessarily bar you from working with us. This will depend on the nature of the role and the circumstances of your offences.

We only accept online applications as this saves us money, making more funds available for us to help ensure children’s rights. CVs will not be accepted.

If you require support in completing the online form or an application form in an alternative format, please contact Supporter Care on 0300 330 5580 during office hours.
