About the Programme Design Manager - Early Years role:

The purpose of this role is to lead the development, design and piloting of a new programme for 4 and 5 year olds. Marrying your expertise in early years youth work design and pedagogy, the lived experience and enthusiasm of our volunteers and over a hundred years of experience in delivering skills for life, you will be responsible for developing our 4 – 6 year olds Programme so that it is impactful, scalable and sustainable.

 What will you be doing?

- Lead the development of the organisation’s 4 and 5 year old provision, supporting a programme design function that designs, tests, implements and evaluates. Strive to scale and sustain the provision.

- Maintain a close understanding of external policy developments and seek to influence these where they are central to the organisation’s strategic ambitions (particularly in relation to the Early Years Programme Design).

- Work with partners from the voluntary sector, public sector and business community to enrich and enhance the organisation’s impact on young people and communities, ensuring that constructive relationships exist to enable effective communication with partners.

- Support the development of a culture across the Strategy Delivery (Programme) team by setting the right context with positive incentives, stretching objectives, clear roles and a complete understanding of the organisation’s strategy and theory of change.

- Support the elimination of distracting complexity for colleagues at the same time as making sure that there is a culture of discipline and volunteer empowerment so that processes that are critical to the organisation are followed

- Design/curate programme content for Early Years delivery pilots and (should they be successful) roll out
