Salary: £25,363-£26,883 per annum

About the role

The Social Care Recruitment Specialist is a new role, created following the review of Sense’s Recruitment function and our commitment to provide a high quality, proactive and timely recruitment service to the business.

Based at our newly built state of the art building, you’ll take the lead for all Social Care recruitment.

As a Specialist Social Care recruiter you will work with the business and recruitment team to develop an in depth understanding of recruitment needs and identify the most appropriate recruitment strategy for our vacancies.

This is a great time to join Sense. With a new CEO, we’re working together to develop our new strategy, and in HR we’re right at the start of some really exciting projects looking at raising the profile of Sense as an employer, engagement, HR systems and talent development and more.

We’ll encourage you to work closely with our People Partners and HR team in Birmingham and London to grow your network in the not for profit sector.

About you

You’re keen to develop your HR career in a charity like ours and, if you don’t already have a strong understanding of what makes a charity work, you’ll learn that and more in this role.

Ideally CIPD qualified, you’ll need to have strong in house recruitment experience within a social care environment so that you can understand recruitment challenges across geographical areas and job types, be innovative and propose creative solutions to fill vacancies.

You will have experience of leading a team, be able to coach, mentor and train the team to develop expertise of recruiting to social care roles within the not for profit sector.

Working at Sense can be incredibly rewarding; we offer the opportunity to work in a large, diverse and successful charity where people can develop their skills, knowledge and careers in a supportive and flexible environment. In addition, we have excellent training and development, the opportunity for you to join our Group Personal Pension scheme and a generous annual leave entitlement.
