Prospectus is excited to be collaborating with City Year UK, a leading youth social action charity in search of their new Development Officer (Corporates). This organisation works with 18-25 year olds, challenging them to tackle educational inequality through a year of full-time voluntary service. They work as mentors, tutors and role models in schools to support pupils growing up in some of the most disadvantaged communities in the UK.

The Development Officer will enhance the organisation's fundraising with a mixture of account management and developing new business, whilst working alongside the team to steward a strong portfolio of existing corporates.

The Development Officer will be responsible for providing a high level of account management to current donors ensuring support is continued annually and increased further. They will also work to build a pipeline of potential new corporate partners using a sector-led approach. Reporting to the Development Manager, you will ensure the database is kept up to date and assist on the preparation and writing of proposals, applications and reports.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and proactive corporate fundraiser to gain and build on their fundraising experience within a passionate and growing organisation. With great opportunities to progress and develop within the role, the ideal candidate will have experience of working within a similar environment and have excellent relationship management skills as well as an enthusiastic outlook.
