We are looking for an experienced Marketing Communications Officer to join NIAB, the UK’s fastest growing plant science organisation, based in Cambridge.
As part of NIAB’s Corporate Communications and Events team you will be liaising with colleagues from across the Group in sourcing information on services and research for use across a range of communication channels.
You will have experience in developing engaging marketing materials, have good presentation and design skills and know how to convey information to different audiences, including farmers, academics and the general public. You will also be responsible for maintaining the organisation’s social media presence through creative content.
Our ideal applicant will have some agricultural or science background, either through a degree or equivalent, or through experience in the agri-food industry as well as an interest in media, design and communication.
As this post will involve occasional travel to UK events, a driving licence is essential.
The starting salary is from £30,042 per annum, dependent on skills, experience and qualifications.
