St Anne’s Community Services is a leading provider of care, support and housing to some of the most vulnerable members of society. Based in Leeds, but operating across the North of England, we have built our reputation as a highly respected social care provider for over 45 years. We are proud to support people with learning disabilities, mental health, homelessness and substance misuse issues to help them achieve their aspirations. Currently 100% of our registered services are rated as “Good” by CQC, well above the national average. We employee over 1,400 staff and have a turnover of over £44 million.

We are looking to appoint dynamic, passionate and committed new Non-Executive Directors with a broad skill set from a range of backgrounds who can contribute to the Board. In addition, we are particularly interested in applicants with following specific areas of expertise and experience;
Accounting - where the Director would also join the organisation’s Audit committee.
Pensions – including sitting on our Pensions & Investments committee.
Clinical Governance - including joining the organisation’s Quality and Risk Management committee.
IT/Digital - to support the organisation in the on-going development and implementation of Digital/IT strategy.
Experience of Learning Disabilities, Mental Health, Addiction or Homelessness, either through their professional or personal experience, would be advantageous but this is not essential.

About the Role
As a non-executive Director, you will use your skills, knowledge and experience to work collaboratively with the organisation’s executive team to achieve the highest standards of operational and financial performance throughout St Anne’s. You will adopt a robust and thorough approach to be assured that St Anne’s continues to operate to the highest standards.
Please note this is an unremunerated position due to the organisation’s Charitable status. We expect the role to take up at 1.5 days per month on average, and in return for your expertise and commitment we offer;
