Youth Peer Support Worker
£3,556.80 pa
Fixed term for 12 months
8.0 hrs per week, worked Mondays and Thursdays

Skills:
- Must have own personal lived experience of mental health challenges
- Must show evidence of good interpersonal skills and have an ability to form peer relationships with service users
- Must be able to establish and maintain constructive working relationships with a wide range of people including young people
- Must have good IT skills (MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet)
- Must have good literacy and numeracy skills
- Must have experience of carrying out assessments
- Must have experience of promoting a service
- Must have good communication, motivational and negotiation skills
- Must have the ability to understand the wellbeing needs of and working with people with mental health needs, including those from culturally diverse communities
