Prospectus is excited to be working exclusively with Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust to help recruit for a new Trust and Statutory Fundraising Manager.

The organisation is the UK's only charity dedicated to those affected by cervical cancer and cervical abnormalities. Two women a day in the UK will die from cervical cancer whilst each year around 3,000 women are newly diagnosed. In addition, some 220,000 a year are told they may have a cervical abnormality that might require treatment.

The role is offered on a full time permanent basis with the potential to work one day a week from home paying £33,000 to £37,000 per annum based near London Bridge.

The Trusts and Statutory Manager will build on the success of their recent statutory wins; managing the overall growth of trusts, foundations and statutory funding in order to help Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust secure the income needed to achieve sustainable growth. The post holder will be responsible for taking the lead on developing the trusts, foundations and statutory portfolio to secure income from new and existing funders for core and new work. There is a strong pipeline and a number of identified prospects that you will be able to apply for along with the beginnings of a calendar that has been established. The task for this role is to build on that calendar and use your experience and ability to reach across the organisation to secure £50k+ applications.

The ideal candidate will have significant previous trust fundraising experience, have excellent written skills with the ability to write persuasively and present cases in a compelling way. You will be working in a small and friendly office environment so the ability to be self-starting will be key.
