Universal Support Manager
37 hours per week
£27,123 per annum
Permanent (funding confirmed until March 2020)
Are you looking for a new challenge, ready to lead, design and develop a new service? Do you have experience of managing people, resources and performance?
We are looking for someone to manage the set up and delivery of our new Universal Support service. You will work closely with the Universal Support Supervisor to ensure efficient delivery of the new service and the integration of the existing advice services offer. You will need to be experienced in establishing partnership arrangements and confident in joining networks.
This role is to lead and manage a team of newly recruited Universal Support staff to deliver demanding targets over the lifetime of the service
The main duties of the role are:
- To manage the Universal Support team and ensuring that quality, efficiency and high levels of customer service and satisfaction are embedded into the service.
- To establish and maintain excellent professional relationships with key stakeholders, such as the Job Centres and the Welfare Rights Team as well as Citizens Advice generalist and specialist provision.
- To manage performance and quality and redress any shortfalls
- To create and maintain an environment that provides a seamless service with clients at the centre.
