Prospectus is excited to be partnering with Consumers International as they source their new Business Development Manager, to lead on building new partnerships with progressive businesses, bringing new finances and resources to support the delivery of their work and contribute to their overall impact for members and consumers globally.

Consumers International brings together over 200 consumer organisations in more than 100 countries to empower and champion the rights of consumers everywhere. It believes in a world where everyone has access to safe and sustainable goods and services.

Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, the Business Development Manager will lead on actively developing the strong existing pipeline and researching other possible corporate partners. Responsibilities will include networking, building relationships and developing a Change Network of Consumers International corporate partners.

The successful candidate will be a Business Development professional with excellent relationship building skills, a strategic eye for business development opportunities and a high energy, proactive approach.

This role is appropriate for candidates coming from a partnerships background, whether within the beyond-profit sector or the for-profit sector. The position is offered as a 1-year contract and depending on the success of the role, this will be extended.
