We have an exciting job opportunity for a new Group and Volunteering Manager to work in Scotland and the North of England to engage and inspire community teams to maximise and establish new fundraising groups.

In this job you'll be involved in the retention, renewal and growth of existing groups and branches, as well as the development of fundraising volunteer networks across the Scotland and the North.

Based from home, you'll liaise closely with Area Fundraising Managers and Fundraising Managers within the geographical location to identify opportunities to recruit and develop fundraising groups and volunteers. You'll support and mentor Fundraising Managers to successfully deliver group targets and manage existing group relationships whilst also providing support to Area Fundraising Managers in carrying out research work to reach target locations for new group formations.

About you


You'll have a deep knowledge of branch and group fundraising / volunteer management with previous experience of supporting, coaching and mentoring team members and colleagues. Working with a dispersed team you'll need a full UK driving licence and experience of working remotely, being able to manage and motivate yourself.

With excellent communication, networking, influencing and relationship building skills you'll be able to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholder. You'll be able to keep up to date with developments within your region and have the resilience to hit deadlines and meet targets.
