Are you a dynamic Project Coordinator interested in working for a dedicated membership organisation supporting girls and young women in the UK?
We are recruiting a Project Coordinator who will be responsible for coordinating a variety of projects aimed at growing membership. Working collaboratively across the organisation the successful candidate will support new tools and processes across the charity.
Please be advised this is a maternity cover post until December 2019.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the full project planning and delivery process of a range of diverse growth and retention projects including creating resources and managing online content. You will work in partnership with various stakeholders and volunteers, country and region teams ensuring the projects meet the needs of their members. Using your innovative skills you will develop new growth concepts, implementing decisions and new ideas as part of the process. Other key aspects of this role will involve budgeting, forecasting, monitoring and evaluation as well as working with volunteers. You will also have the opportunity to support the research and development of new products and processes.
To be considered for this role it is essential to have experience of managing multiple large and complex projects from conception through to delivery and evaluation. You are required to have previous experience of working in the charity and not-for profit sector ideally within a large organisation. You will also have previous experience of working as a volunteer or with volunteers. The placed candidate will have excellent relationship building skills at all levels with the ability to solve problems quickly and proactively with knowledge of developing and managing online resources. A professional qualification in project management is desirable.
